SOUL JOURNEY - Seek your Spirit and Discover your Path
 NORTH...
where all's at rest
and bodies in stillness keep.
North where Winter soothes the Mother into sleep.
North is the Elder, come dance the circle dance,
step softly, as the Moon does, and dance Her circle dance.
Move on now, through the Spiral, and begin the circle dance.

From Where I Stand
My Shaman Spirit

I have had many incredible teachers, some here; some from that other, mystical place within. This was my first teacher.

Eddy Lorentz
1920-1971
In his gentle, sagacious way my father guided my restless Spirit to learn, create and seek, in gratitude.
In my life  for only eleven years, he offered me a glimpse of the Shamanic road I would later be called to walk.  The Labyrinth I created in my yard, and this site, are dedicated to him.

Seeking the Ways

I was given the opportunity to learn about perspective a number of years ago. This was not a course or class I took, rather, it was my teacher, Tanachau, who guided me to this understanding, and I am forever grateful.
The course I am now able to offer is the culmination of years of investigation; experimentation and "walking the talk".
The following is from the course:
 "Perspective: From Where You Stand"
I ask you two questions: "How does your life look, from where you stand?"
"Where are you standing?"
Answer these two questions honestly and you are on your way to exploring perspective.
Think of how you look at the world. Are you a pessimist; with a glass half empty? Are you an optimist; with a glass half full?
how are these two states of being similar? they both speak to the opportunity of loss. If my glass is already half empty I have little to spare. If my glass is half full it seems inevitable that it will not always be so.
Can there be an alternative?
For the past five years I have been exploring a third alternative. I have become a "perspectivist". Being a perspectivist gives me the option of seeing the third alternative of "I have a glass and there is something in it!"  Even if I share, there will still be something in it. I will not lose out by sharing what I have. Some days I may have less, and other days more. Quantity becomes less important. Even if I trip and dump it all out...I still have a glass and can put something in it.
